With our thermal image survey we normally get as low as 17 degrees whereas a radiator should be achieving 70 degrees. Achieving this heat output will ultimately save you money on fuel.
We also advise to fit some controls to limit time periods the system runs as once the Power Flush has been carried out the house warms up quickly. We suggest thermostatic radiator valve and smart thermostat.

If it has been annually serviced it still could be contaminated if you do not have proof that the water quality has been checked for inhibitor. If inhibitor is not present in the heating water it will oxidise and sludge up.

We will log all of this information on a survey sheet and give you a copy. We can then give you a quote for the Flushing process the system requires. If you go ahead with the job we will add a cleaner to the system and return within 7 days to carry out the process.

This process is a magnetic flush in which a cleaner is added and circulated around the system by the boiler and pump with the Magnaclense collecting contaminants
It then moves up to a Power Flush using a Proflush Pump machine. Chemicals are added to the Proflush and water is pumped around the system at high velocity {not high pressure} reversing the flow to dislodge any sludge and oxides.
This process is better for older systems or really badly blocked heating circuits. This process starts at €450.00 for 7 radiator system. If we think it is necessary we will link up the Magnaclense to the Proflush which will increase the starting price to €500.00 for 7 radiator system. Call for quote for larger properties.
We always carry out a visual inspection of the system and if we think it is in very poor condition we will not proceed and will recommend other measures, such as radiator and pipework replacement.
If any remedial work is required we will recommend before proceeding. Power Flushing will not cause leaks but leaks could occur due to underlying conditions which we can address while on site at extra cost,{these leaks could occur at any time so its better we are present to repair them rather than a leak occurring when you are out}.
